Trend Avoid

I'm going to hold my hands up and admit that I am a slight fashion slave, in the sense that when new trends come along I jump on the band wagon  I've fully embraced the lady like loveliness of this season and suitably updated my wardrobe. However, sometimes there comes a trend that I have to think twice about, even at risk of not "following" fashion. So based on this I thought I'd show you some fashion phases I've given a miss.

Disclaimer: I am not slating these items. If you personally love them, and rock them, I am not saying that these trends aren't nice, fashionable or whatever. All I'm saying is that these trends don't work with my sense of style. 

Trend Avoid by thecrownwings featuring logo hats

Beanies I have one which I only wear in winter when its arctic. Its an animal one with little pom poms as ears. The reason I'll tolerate this is that there's no spare beanie above my head, it literally cocoons my head, rather than having a saggy bit above. Some people can really pull these off and look effortlessly cool, I on the other hand would just look like a 90's girl band reject. Never an on-trend look.

Creepers Again, I've seen loads of bloggers look so fashionable in these, but I don't know, I just feel so clumpy in them. My style is quite pulled together, a more budget version of Blair Waldorf, sometimes with the headband. Adding creepers to my style just doesn't work, they're not me at all, their too grunge for my girly, feminine style.

Onesies I WISH I could get behind the whole onesie trend but I can't. I don't want to dress like a baby, I'm a grown woman. I know they're comfy, and great for hanging round the house, but I'd much prefer some nice lounge wear, cute hoodies, vest tops and sweat pants.

Distressed Denim I think this is down to preferring looking "done" rather than the just rolled out of bed. I just don't understand why you would pay £60+ for a pair of ripped jeans,I don't want them ripped. For me, that defeats the whole point of buying new jeans.
